How to migrate to the new Mercado Pago plugin
Find out how to migrate to the new Mercado Pago plugin for Tiendanube.
Important
To perform the migration correctly, it is essential that you are logged into your main Mercado Pago account, the same one you use to receive payments.
Install the new plugin
- In your Tiendanube store’s Admin Panel, go to Apps > Go to App Store.
- Search for the Mercado Pago payment method and click Install.
- Give your consent to the application's permissions and, finally, click on Accept.
- You will be redirected to Mercado Pago, where you must log in with your main account. Click Allow to authorize the connection.
Note
At this moment, both versions of the plugin will be installed in your store, ensuring that payments continue to work normally during the migration.
Disable the old plugin
With the new app installed, it is necessary to disable the old plugin by following the steps below.
Attention
Be careful to not disable the new version.
- In your Tiendanube store’s Admin Panel, go to Apps.
- Locate the Mercado Pago plugin in the payment methods list and click Disable.
